Potato Chips

Whenever we go to Canada, Ralph and I each will buy a package of candy, cookie or chips that aren’t made here in the states. Instead of candy apple M&Ms, I got curry potato chips, and Ralph got cheeseburger potato chips. He didn’t like his – NOT too much flavor, and didn’t eat all of them. My chips were the opposite – VERY curry tasting, and it was too much…didn’t finish mine.

Glacier Provincial Park, BC

The trip to Glacier Provincial Park in BC was a bust, weather wise. Thought the highs would be in the 60s, but highs turned out to be in the 30s + rain and snow. Brrr. Beauty wise, it was fab.

Great campsite. Could hear the roar of the river. Too bad it was too cold to sit near it and read.

Better view of the river. Nice glacial blue in color.

Meeting of the Waters. Two rivers - one glacial blue and the other muddy brown. Kinda hard to see in the photo.

Pumping My Own Gas & Paying Tax

Each time I travel out of state I’m always surprised (that first time) I have to pump my own gas, or pay more than the price listed.

Heading to the Land of Poutine*

Soon headed to Portland for my MIL to fly home, then head north to listen to my fav NW band [Casey Neill] in Seattle, then keep heading north to the Land of poutine *and giant goldfish crackers. We’ll be spending 5 days hiking the mountains of Glacier Provincial Park, located between Revelstoke and Golden, BC.
