Gray Cat’s Roulette Toy

This is the ultimate kittie toy!

Gray Cat plays with it nonstop. The only time she stops is when it goes under something and she can’t play. (It slides on the floor as she’s playing.)

I highly recommend…if NOT for the kittie, it certainly is entertaining for us!

My Mr. Wonderful

9 years ago today, I had my first date with Ralph. Any guesses what we did/where we went [see photo]?

aaa

We had dinner at the Pine Tavern, which is the oldest restaurant in Bend, and has a huge pine tree growing in the middle of the restaurant and out the roof.

Sooners’ 47-game Winning Streak

On this day in 1957, Notre Dame beats Oklahoma 7-0, ending the Sooners’ 47-game, 1,512-day college football winning streak.

The game also marked the first time in more than 120 games that Oklahoma didn’t score a single point. Sooners fans were stunned. Some cried; some sat in the stadium for more than an hour after the game was over.

But, as Sooners coach Bud Wilkinson said in the locker room after the game, “There wasn’t anything mysterious about it. We just got beat.”

The lady in front of me ordered a small coffee, then kept adding to it (caramel drizzle…) which brought it to a whopping $6.85. Yeow.

Bob Lefsetz on the World Series

So right now you’ve got a cadre of thrilled baby boomers with their minds blown that this series went to seven, the Cubs came back from a 3-1 deficit, and Chicago earned its first ring in 108 years.

And you’ve got a younger generation that’s shrugging its shoulders if it’s paying attention at all.
