Ellen’s DJ, Tony, is Annoying

Ellen’s sidekick/DJ, Tony Okungbowa,  is really annoying to me.  Every time they cut to him, he’s uproariously [fake] laughing at something Ellen said.  Mouth wide open, head back, and clapping his hands…laughing.  Watch…he does this EVERY time.  It probably doesn’t help that I don’t think Ellen is funny, let alone hysterically funny.

Kind of reminds me when I went to see a David Letterman taping in April, 2007, and how much all the sycophants in his band laughed at everything he said.  A small portion of my review:

“After David does his monologue, during which everyone, everyone including all the band members, laugh and clap at everything he says [well, I should say during the entire show].  It’s pretty pathetic when you are there live, but it’s not so noticeable when I watched the show on tv.”

I beg to differ. I do not think her is fake or annoying. He is unique and does not have to put on airs. A European background does that for you. While I think the man is talented and could work for anyone I find his being on Ellen a way to broaden her fan base and bring different individuals who offer to Ellen a more global attraction. I am not surprised someone would complain about Tony, but sorry guys Chris Botti got too busy and had to leave. When you bring a type of “this is who I am, if you do not like, please, change the channel. But her I am love me or leave me. Ellen, there are more loving you than leaving my friend.

I see Tony as yet another one who accessorises Ellen’s show with his unique talent, who maybe one day may leave to pursue other things, but he is there and he does a great, no terrific job! I off his case, he is an entertainer and supports Ellen and hy. It was a shame to lose Chris Botti, but he chose to persue other avenues. His unfortunate loss. Ellen is the hotest Chris, next! Tony O. rock on sir. I find that your personality, music has benefited the Ellen show greatly.

Ellen, wow, what can I say about Ellen D? She is spectacular, sincere, and kind with a big heart. She is a person with feelings, compassion, and I just love her. I respect who she is and has become, and today, for who she is and what she stands for.

It takes guts to face a world that you are not sure will like and accept your talent, less more anything else, but today, she is accepted by a lot more today than she was 20 years ago, and hurray she is no longer hiding her real life!! Kudos to Ellen and Portia for that. Who you have allowed us to see and get to know is what makes you you.

Ellen is successful for many different reasons, but I love her because she is honest, secure in who she is and compassionate. Being able to stand tall for what you stand for is another reason I want her on television to share what she wants others to see. Portia, is a beautiful soul, and she makes Ellen such a new and happy person we see on her show each and every day. One day I may come knocking on her door for whatever job she has available. Gotta love Ellen. P.S. My on screen site name for writing is Dehlia Lopez, but my real Christian name is Phyllis Continued success Ellen, we love you. A fan,

I beg to differ. I do not think he is fake or annoying, but a talented and unique individual. He does not have to put on airs, and is himself on Ellen. A European type background can do that for a person. While I think Tony is talented and could work for anyone in the same or a different industry, I find his being on Ellen a way to broaden her fan base, bring in different individuals to both watch and maybe be on her show, not necessarily in her backyard of Hollywood. Janet Jackson no longer lives in LA at the moment, her marriage to a non US citizen, Wissam Al Mana, however, she comes on the show often enough as an example. Or another may be Tina Turner, while I love Ms. Tina, not sure if she has been on Ellen’s show, but a friend once said while visiting Switzerland, many watch Ellen’s show. Global is more like it. I am not surprised someone would complain about Tony, but sorry guys Chris Botti got too busy and had to leave. When you bring a type of “this is who I am, if you do not like, please, change the channel. But her I am love me or leave me. Ellen, there are more loving you than leaving my friend.

Tony is an entertainer, and he is also the Band Ellen has hired and uses, get off the mans case. Okay fine, it was a shame to lose Chris Botti, but he chose to pursue other avenues and interests. Of course today, it is his unfortunate loss. Ellen is the hottest ticket on television right now. By the way, Chris who? Next! Tony O. rocks. I find that your personality, and music has benefited the Ellen show greatly.

As for Ellen, wow, what can I say about Ellen D? She is spectacular, sincere, and an estremely kind person with a big heart. She is a person with feelings, compassion, and I just love her. I respect who she is and has become, and today, for what she stands for.

It takes guts to face a world that you are not sure will like and accept you, less more your unique gift or talent to bring people together and share them with the world. Ellen is a hilarious talent; today, she is accepted by a lot more today than she was 20 years ago, and finally she can live the live she was destined to have. No more hiding if she ever did anyway. My sincere kudos to Ellen and Portia for that. I see a happy person, who is living her life with the woman she loves.

Ellen is successful for many different reasons, but I believe it is for who she is and has become. She is settled and secure now for who she is. Being able to stand tall for what you stand for is another reason I want her on television to share that with others. Portia, is a beautiful soul, and she makes Ellen such a new and happy individual we see on television each and every day.

    Gotta love Ellen.

Much continued success to Ellen, Portia and her show.
